Recommended Equipment

Pilates Mat

While you can use any general mat, we recommend opting for a thicker mat for Pilates classes. Thicker, high-density mats (about 1/2 inch) will be more comfortable for your knees and back when moving in and out of poses.

Resistance Bands

Originally used as a rehabilitation tool, resistance bands have become increasingly popular in Pilates classes for strength and flexibility conditioning. We recommend using a flat ribbon-style band.

Water

Hydration is so important especially when pushing your body to its limits. Keep your favorite bottle next to your mat to stay hydrated during our classes. You’re going to need it.

Optional Equipment

Exercise Ball

A stability ball can be used to target your core and focus on stability during our routines. Use it as an alternative to a desk chair and modify poses to activate different muscles and elongate your body.

Pilates Ring

This flexible ring helps us create moderate resistance and target specific muscle groups. You can likely make it through your favorite class without a magic ring, but they can help you take your workout to the next level.
