Origins

Our Method

Our training is based on the classical method founded by Joseph Pilates who believed that physical and mental health were completely dependent upon one another. His lifelong interest in body conditioning contributed to an exercise system that creates flexibility and strength for the entire body. We draw inspiration from this visionary to craft Pilates classes, however, routines are always open to variation and modification to fit the needs of students and their respective fitness levels.

Pilates is For You

Why Pilates

Pilates is a low-intensity workout that focuses on strengthening your core through a series of controlled movements that engage your entire body. This unique practice combines breathing techniques, concentration and posture, and mental and physical awareness to increase core strength, flexibility and body alignment. Practicing Pilates has been scientifically proven to not only enhance physical fitness, but it also contributes to mental clarity and stress relief. Move your body and connect with your self to create a stronger, more balanced you.

What to Expect

While there are two main types of Pilates, we teach virtual floor routines that require a mat to cushion your joints and pressure points. Our classes are streamed online via Mindbody which allows us to instruct you, organize our class schedule, and provide an easy, seamless checkout experience. Most classes are reserved for a 55-minute workout. We offer intro and beginner classes for those who are unfamiliar with Pilates or for individuals who are interested in deepening their practice.

All classes are taught on the mat unless otherwise specified.
